To manage the mobile data usage of CONXTD, use any of the following options. Please note, for optimum app experience we recommend keeping all of these options on. But in some cases you may want to limit mobile data usage.
Please note notifications will continue to work (if enabled) even if all 3 of these options are carried out.
Fully close the app running in the background:
1. Double-click the Home button to see apps open in the background
2. Swipe right or left to find the CONXTD app
3. Swipe up on the app's preview to close the app
This can be done after each session on the app
Turn off Background App Refresh
1. Go to iPhone Settings
2. Scroll down to find CONXTD in list of apps, then tap to show options
3. Swipe to turn off 'Background App Refresh'
Disable Mobile data for CONXTD
1. Go to iPhone Settings
2. Scroll down to find CONXTD in list of apps, then tap to show options
3. Swipe to turn off 'Mobile Data'
This would mean the app would only work on WiFi and if opened when on Mobile Data in this mode an error message would appear to say there is 'no active internet connection'
Notifications will still work even if all the above are carried out, so you will still be able to receive push notifications of alarms & events, even when the phone is connected to mobile data. Just the app will not work when opened.
